Can you put a chain tensioner on a multispeed mountain bike? Any suggestions? E 13’s are too expensive for me?
I've been wondering if you can put a chain tensioner on a multispeed bike. How do you you install them, and can they be installed on all and any bikes? Do I need one for a freeride / downhill bike? I'd like to buy one eventually, or if it won't work out just a bashguard. And is a tensioner the same as a chain guide? Thanks

Multi speed bikes have tensioners built-in in the derailleur.
